ROUSH Performance Engineering was founded by Jack Roush in 1976. He started by selling the designs he created for his own race team. It wasn't long before his designs were in high demand for drag, oval-track, and hill-climbing racing. Mr. Roush also designed components for offshore powerboats.
Jack Roush is an accomplished race car driver and has won many championships in drag races, including the American Hot Rod Association, National Hot Rod Association, and the International Hot Rot Association.
Before he was a racecar driver, Roush also helped develop engines for Ford Motor Company in 1964. Roush is considered an engineering genius, and his company has been providing top-quality performance parts for Ford's vehicles for many years.
This kit not only adds more power to your engine, but it also helps keep your engine from overheating. The Roush Supercharger kits come with a high-flow intake and a larger throttle body to allow for better airflow.
The kit is easy to install, and all the software for engine calibration is downloadable. This kit is not compatible with the Mack-1 edition. It is also not compatible with Mustangs made outside of North America that have to meet Eiro 6.2 emission requirements.
ROUSH offers a 3-year or 36,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty. However, in order for this kit to be valid for the warranty, it must be installed by a Ford dealership or an ASE-certified technician.
