There are two certifications with Ford Blue Advantage. There is the Gold certification and Blue certification. The former is the higher of the two.
The gold-certified vehicles go through a rigorous 172-point inspection to make sure everything is working properly. They must be a Ford vehicle that is no more than six years old and must have no more than eighty thousand miles on it. If there are parts that need to be replaced, then our certified technicians will repair and replace parts with Motorcraft® OEM parts.
Along with this Gold certification, buyers will get a twelve-month or twelve-thousand-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty. Buyers can also get a seven-year or 100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty. Lastly, they can get twenty-two FordPass™ Rewards Points to use for their first two maintenance visits.
The Blue certification can be for any make or model vehicle. However, it must be no older than ten years old. It must also have no more than 120,000 miles on it. These vehicles will go through a 139-point inspection. Much like the Gold-certified vehicles, any parts that need to be replaced will be replaced with OEM parts. Ford vehicles will be replaced with Motorcraft OEM parts, and non-Ford vehicles will be repaired with Omnicraft® OEM parts.
For those that purchase a Blue certified vehicle, buyers will have a ninety-day or four-thousand-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty. They, too, can get the benefit of 24/7 roadside assistance as well as eleven thousand FordPass points for their first maintenance visit.
