Since then, Ford has come out with a multitude of generations of Mustang vehicles. Through the 60s and 70s, the Mustang continued to grow in size to accommodate for the enlarging engine. The drive to push how fast this car can go played a big impact on its design. From the mid-90s to early 2004, the Mustang became a bit rounder but still held on to the more recognizable feature such as the Mustang emblem and the stylized cabin with the twin-cowl dashboard. However, it wasn't until the 2005 to 2014 models that Ford debuted the more retro look of Mustang's original roots, adorning the squared-off shape and the 4.0L V-6 engine producing 210 horsepower.
The Mustang Mach-E made its debut in 2020, being awarded the North American SUV of the Year Award in 2021. Since then, the Mustang Mach-E has been in high demand. It is the first all-electric crossover in the Mustang family.
The 2022 model starts at $43,895 MSRP. This car is equipped with a primary electric motor engine in the rear and a secondary electric motor in the front with a high-voltage battery. The 1967 Shelby GT500 came with a 417 CID engine and was designed with several race-inspired features. It had the roll bar on the top of the cabin. The hood was larger to accommodate the larger engine, and the spoiler lip completed the race car look.
The '67 Shelby GT500 even got a starring role as Eleanor in the 2000 movie Gone in Sixty Seconds with Nicolas Cage.
Since then, this Mustang has been the envy of many car enthusiasts. By the early 2000s, the Shelby's engine has seen significant upgrades, such as a 5.4L engine pushing out 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque.
